5 Places To Take Out Of Towners On A Holiday Weekend In San Antonio

If you have out-of-town guests in for the Thanksgiving Holidays, you may be racking your brain trying to figure out the best places to take them during the holidays. This list will help take the stress out of entertaining your guests while showing off your great city!

1. Tree Lighting at Alamo Plaza - Nov 28th, 3-7PM 
Watch as Santa lights the 55 ft Fir that kicks off the holiday season for downtown San Antonio, then head on down to the Riverwalk Holiday Parade.

2. San Antonio Riverwalk Holiday Parade - Nov 28th, 7-9PM
A holiday tradition for 30 years, come rain or shine, the San Antonio Riverwalk Holiday parade is a spectacle to behold, and is the beginning of the month long holiday season where the Riverwalk is made more magical by thousands of strands of hanging lights.
3. The Pearl Brewery Complex - all season long!
The Historic Pearl Brewery Complex is an amazing San Antonio destination, with a dense offering of amazing restaurants, bars, local food vendors, live entertainment and more. There is so much to do and see at the Pearl that it should be top on your list to bring out of town guests year-round! During Christmas, the part of the Riverwalk the reaches to the Brewery is lit with an amazing array of LED lights - even underwater! 
4. Incarnate Word "Light the Way" Christmas Light Display
This year marks the 28th anniversary of the Incarnate Word "Light the Way" Christmas Display, where over a million lights have been hung on the University Campus. Travel past the school on Hildebrand and Broadway, then go grab dinner and do some shopping at the Quarry!
5. Morgan's Wonderland
For those guests with kids in tow, take a trip to Morgan's Wonderland, a theme park open to all children, but especially designed for those with special needs. Featuring a petting zoo, festive decorations and light display, Morgan's Wonderland is a great place for the kids!
