Launch a lantern and a wish all at once! Water Lanterns are often used to welcome happiness, make wishes, or celebrate holidays. The San Antonio Botanical Gardens will be lit up with luminaries on the walkways and lanterns on the water. Join in by buying a lantern on site or bring one from home. Don’t forget to make a wish!

The Smithsonian might be filled to the brim with valuables, but it thinks your home might contain some treasures of it’s own! The Museum will split you into teams and send you on a hunt for forgotten things in your home, such as an old essay from middle school, or a shot glass from college. The team with the most points will even win a prize!
