Why do we love San Antonio?

It's a easy time to forget about the good things in life. There's a lot going on– a pandemic, protests, and unease can make your heart wilt. We may have be off the streets of our beloved city, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten her many virtues. San Antonio Magazine has called promient locals to share with us what they love about our home. 

Local artist and business owner Ginger Diaz says the talent and culture is irreplaceable. "We are a city that is rich in the most important things: family, art and culture.”

Texas House Representive Diego Bernal says San Antonio has never let him down. He says, "People here are good—they honor good and they expect good."

Urban Designer Sherry Kafka Wagner says the balance of city and nature is ubeatable: "Every day I would kind of have that sense of being in the city, and yet not being separate from the natural world."

Andrea 'Vocab' Sanderson, San Antonio Poet Laureate shares a poem that ends in a poigent line."My city," She writes, "says you belong here now."
